Older people to have school dinners

In a idea that is supposed to combat anti social behaviour by the young people of today, the minister for older people Ivan Lewis has put forward a proposal that could see the older people spending lunch time at a local school, not just to try our school diners, but also to try and build up some sort of rapport between youngsters and older people.

There have been plans before, but these did not appear to make any difference to both groups. Young people know very little about older people, and visa versa. In fact older people are almost terrified of the prospect of laying eyes on school-aged children.

It is hoped that should this go ahead the gap between the older and younger generations could be bridged and the result would mean that there could be some sort of mutual respect for each other. Older people do have a lot to offer, by the way of life experiences. Being brought up during the WW2 and living through all the fantastic technological changes over the years, they are a source of living history.
