Schools under pressure
Whatever happened to the phrase “Education, Education, Education!” it was drummed into everyone’s head ten years ago, but has the governments plan to educate our children really paid off or has nothing changed at all?
The schools minister Jim Knight is saying that schools should be allowed have classes of seventy, but in order to make this really work there would be a need for at least four teachers to be present too, which really does not make any sense at all, apart from space saving there, is no other purpose of this.
Some people may think that the government have been to preoccupied with other things and have not really got their collective eyes on the ball that is the UK and people who live in it. On the one hand there are the teachers who are nearly always against any idea that the government has, and on the other the government who seem to be grabbing at any idea. They all seem to forget about the kids who are stuck between.
