Office 2007 no good for schools

Once again the British Educational Communications and Technology Agency (BECTA) have complained to the European Commission again with regards to Microsoft and their products.

In response it would seem that the European commission are going to launch a wider investigation, even though they have only recently finished an anti trust investigation on the company.

The problems surround the interoperability that they have found in Office 2007, it has been found that the problems that are within the Office 2007 product just do not go with the education environment.

It is a wonder that all parties have not come to some sort of arrangement by now.
