Sometimes anyone can get a degree

Studying for a degree is the hardest work that students do, but is it getting any easier. After all there is talk that all other exams are getting easier rather than more being more difficult. But when it gets to degree standards you would have thought that the levels required should remain constant.

So if this work is so hard and in fact takes anything up to three or four year to complete, then how come a one year old golden retriever named Zeeke is going to be getting a bachelor of science degree from the Ohio Northern University?

One answer could be that the degree is in canine companionship and another reason could be that the dog has actually completed thousands of hours of training, which is comparable to the students who will also be collecting their degrees from the university at the same time.
