Kids to stay at until 17

For the first time since 1972, the school leaving age is to change. These changes will only affect pupils starting secondary school for the first time this term. These children will now have to stay at school until they reach the age of seventeen.

But this is not going to be the only change being put on the shoulders of these youngsters for they will also be getting even more choices on subjects. New diplomas will be available in construction and engineering.

While there will also be changes in the exams too, there will be the introduction of the highly acclaimed A* grade, which will be given to only students who have attained the highest educational standards.

However, the Association of School and College Leaders are saying that there are too many changes being introduced at one time, which could lead to problems.
