Internet eases student life

The first few weeks of university life can be a bit of a nightmare for a first timer, especially if they are living away from home for the first time, this solitude can sometimes be overwhelming until now.

It seems that the use of FaceBook and MySpace has opened up a new word of being in touch with friends and family, which can mean a lot to some students, there is also the possibility of being able to make new friends at the same college.

In essence, this is what social networking is all about, the ability to communicate with friends, talk about what is going, even if it is just to make it through the first weeks while the student settles in.

For all of those parents that have condemned social networking as being a menace they can now be rest assured that these websites are the saviour of their children as they start their new life.
