Weighing up the cost of college

Normally you would have thought that the best and at the same time most expensive colleges would enable the student upon qualification would then be able to get themselves a much better job than those students who went to a different college.

However, according to research this is not necessarily the case, because despite the fact that someone is lucky enough to go to a high profile and much more costly college they have no real advantage over any other student who has gained a similar qualification elsewhere.

Of course, the student that went to the highbrow college would have also made some serious network connections; this in itself can make all the difference when there are high profile positions in various organisations, such government and large companies.
