Kids told that Santa is not real by teacher

Twenty five pupils at a school in Royton, near Oldham left school in tears after their teacher had told them that Santa does not exist.

It must be only natural that children are going to be excited about Christmas at this time of year as there is no escaping it, teachers should be prepared for that but in this case the supply teacher could not control the class and shouted out:

‘It’s your parents who leave out presents on Christmas Day.’

Naturally, parents complained about this and the school have decided not to use the supply teachers services again. Although she could appearing at any school in the near future as she is still working for the same agency.

It is too late for those children, but perhaps teachers whether they are supply or not should be well versed in the ways of young children and if they find out on their own about Santa, so be it.
