Using Twitter in education
It may come as a surprise to some people that the micro blogging site Twitter is being used more and more in education, not as way of learning, but more for those involved in education to air their views and hopefully pick up tips.
The problem is that despite the growth of Twitter, this free to use site is still either unknown or just simply unused by many users of the internet, which would seem to be a waste of resources, especially for those who are involved in education.
There are many groups, which education staff use such as the Teachers E-Book, Teachers 4 Twitter Wiki and Twitt Groups: Teachers, these groups are easy to get involved with, and of course, Twitter itself is easy and free to join.
