Students fail at GCSE

It looks as if there is some discrepancy over the pass rates that we are fed by the government when it comes to GCSE results. We are led to believe that not all of our school kids are coming from high school with great results, but that may be the case.

According to some reports around 340,000 pupils in England alone failed to get five good GCSE results last year, these include English and Maths. While around four hundred and forty schools failed to get thirty per cent of their pupils to this target.

It has to be up to parents to ensure that their children are getting the correct education that they need. However, with so much red tape and support for schools from government, there is little chance of a parent being able to demand anything, and this could be getting a lot worse in the future.
