Schools to get tough on cyber bullying

The government is advising schools that they should be getting tough on bullies who are using mobile phones and the internet to bully other children. This has been a growing nuisance which is probably effecting a lot more children than the figures show, as some children a likely to keep the bullying to themselves, which is probably the worse thing that they could do.

Teachers are being told that they can take mobile phones off of children who use them to bully, and train them on how the remove nasty comments and other material from websites.

This is to be backed up by a nationwide advertising campaign to try and get those children being bullied in this manner to come forward and let the schools know so that something can be done about these children who feel that it is ok to bully other children.
