Parents should avoid the rights and wrongs of sex booklet

Sex education is always going to be a concern for parents; some may think that schools teach them too early, whereas there are other parents who believe their children have been taught about the birds and bees too late.

There is a booklet being made available through pharmacies called “Talking to Your Teenager About Sex and Relationships” this booklet tells parents not to be take a moral tone and to be much more open about sex issues.

The booklet uses the theory that parents could use the lives of celebrities to use as examples for the issue as this will work much better than doing the big sit down talk, which is the preferred way for parents to highlight their concerns.
