Majority against private education

In a poll commissioned by YouGov only 29% were for private education, yet in the same poll but taking the views of Conservative voters the figure rises to 51%, but you would have expected there to be a higher percentage to be in favour of this type of education in this sector of the voting public. Could private education be falling out of favour?

However recently there has been much said about the sending children to private schools, and it mainly has to do with the costs involved. Some parents are getting themselves into serious debt by taking out second mortgages or taking second and even third jobs in order to make ends meet. So is it really worth it, and do the figures stack up against the results that the State education system is attaining?

It all boils down to choice, some parents believe that they are giving their children a head start in life, a sort of early days networking. But with spiralling fees will the private sector be able to survive?
