TV could be good for under three’s

A study that followed around eight hundred children from birth to three years old, has been tracking their TV usage in order to determine once and for all whether TV is any good for children or is it just a bad influence.

After previous studies it was even recommended that up to the age of two TV had no benefit at all and should be used a form of entertainment or education.

But this recent study wanted to find out if that was true or not, they found that children who spent more time watching the TV than others in the study group, actually did worse in language and motor skills than those who watched less TV.

This confirms that children under three should not spend hours in front of the TV as it can have a detrimental effect on their development.
