Girls are doing better than boys

Looking at the stats it would seem that girls are not doing better than boys, but when the stats are tweaked to use the results from girl only schools, then it is true girls are doing better than boys.

These results come from a study into education, it found that girls who attend single sex schools are likely to do better in their work and stay on in education because of attending single sex schools.

This was not a small test; the research in fact involved over seven hundred thousand girls, the results were clear though, those girls attending girls schools were doing better than their counterparts in mixed schools.

These results are likely to fuel the calls for both boys and girl’s schools to be made available for those parents who want their children to attend a single sex school.
