Students see’s African orphanage and buys it

It is very popular for students to take some time out before or after their they go to university, this would normally mean them working with a charitable organisation and travelling to a third world country and help out by working in some manner to make the lives of the people better.

However, it is not that often that a student visits an orphanage in Tanzania and decides to buy it, not because of a business type of thing, but simply because she found that, the children were dangerously close to starving and suffering from dehydration.

Instead of raising the money and giving it to the authorities asked if you could buy it after raising £30,000, they agreed and now Amy Lambert aged just 24 plans to finish her studies before moving out there and working on the project full time.
