Education and Alzheimer’s link
There has been a link established between education and Alzheimer’s disease. Researchers from the Karolinska Institute, in Stockholm, Sweden, have been working the effect of education and how this affects the risk of getting Alzheimer’s.
The study showed that the more years of education that a person has the lower the risk of them developing the debilitating disease dementia or even Alzheimer’s disease. This was a study of more than 1,400 adults from Finland which took place over a period of twenty years.
This is a very interesting study, and if the link could be explored further as no doubt it will, then it will be a very good basis for people to keep studying for as long as possible.
