Harry Potter banned from school

He may be the most famous young wizard of all time, but where some people are concerned he is not the type of person that should be gracing the halls of some schools. It has nothing to do with the films, this is a question of books and whether they are suitable material for school libraries or not.

In this case it would appear not, as the Head of the Catholic School, St. Josephs in Wakefield, Mass in the states, has banned the books. He says that this material that contains witchcraft and scenes of the occult have no place in a Church school.

This has caused a split in opinions where the parents are concerned as the Catholic Church has no official ruling on these books.
