Muslim dress for teachers

Teaching staff at a primary school in the West Midlands has been ordered to wear the same clothes as Muslims, this supposed to be the schools idea of promoting multi culturalism while the school celebrates a Muslim festival.

In the school which there are 257 pupils the majority are Christian and of the 41 teaching staff there are two Muslims, but it is reported that all of the staff took part in the dressing up and according to the head Sally Bloomer, said that there had been no complaints from anyone.

There should be some serious thinking about these sort events, as they can on the one hand offend in the case the Muslims and on the other is it really going to help Muslims integrate into our society?
