School gets Audio CCTV

Being set on fire twice in the past six months is enough to drive any one to seek out some sort of method of deterring this type of vandalism which is expensive and of course dangerous.

The Clerkhill School in Peterhead, Scotland has just installed a smart CCTV system which not only covers the school area, but also talks to anyone who is in a place where they should not be. This system may linked to another school or even to the local council’s manned monitoring system.

But there may be some concerns here regarding the school children’s privacy, is this a bad thing or just getting them used to being under surveillance all of the time.
